Very much so. Thanks for the heads up.

Moss has hit .333 since July 1 with nine RBIs.

Outfielder is 7th round pick out of Texas A&M (Minter's school), has played all of 24 professional games so far

Daris is released in corresponding move.

Carolina reliever Sean McLaughlin on temporary inactive list.

Rome activates Salazar from DL; SS Josephina moved from Rome to GCL.

Derian Cruz, Cristian Pache moved to Danville from GCL!

RHP Luis Perez released from GCL roster

Love our international duo from last year; Cruz/Pache are two of our more exciting talents at the lower levels.

Also, seeing their success has to give a Braves fan some good thoughts regarding the class we signed this year.

As a Mississippi State fan, I watched a lot of teams roll through Starkville. By far the best team I saw play against Mississippi State was Texas A&M. That team was legitimate. They could hit the ball. If I'm not mistaken, they had the best offensive team in the SEC. JB Moss was a part of that. His upside is limited, but anytime you can do what he did in the SEC, you have some ability.

In 2 more years it's gonna be really interesting to see what we do with all of this pitching if it keeps progressing like it is. Good problem to have though.

R.P. Didder continues to be a puzzling prospect. His main claim to fame is his ability to get plunked with pitches, but he's shown a little more power this year and supposedly has some pretty decent tools.

40-man roster decisions looming on both Lien and Camargo. Curious to see what they do. I can see a case being made to protect either or both and vice-versa. I think Camargo is the better prospect, but I don't think either projects as a surefire regular at the big league level.

I think Lien is the better prospect. He's a 5 tool guy that has started to put those tools together in the past two years.

Some tough choices. I wonder if they will add Astudillo given the shortage of catching options in the upper levels.

Yeah, this is gonna be tricky. One name I overlooked on my last sweep of guys who need to be protected this winter is Max Fried. So the list of players to consider is getting pretty long: Fried, Ruiz, Sims, Whalen, Camargo, Lien, Hursh, Janas (might be missing a couple). Whalen will almost certainly claim his spot this Wednesday. The last 4 certainly aren't locks, but all are playing well. Fringe guys like Daniel Castro that are currently holding a spot are in a precarious position.
