Carolina 10 games shy of merciful elimination.

Speaking of elimination, time to eliminate Ryan Clark. Has had 21 starts (1-11, 5.99), allowing 138 hits in 121 innings, with 76 strikeouts and 38 walks, 11 HBP.

His last outing, Clark started suspended game with two on and one out in first. Here's how his night went:

Two-run triple, walk, RBI double, RBI single, walk, RBI single, RBI walk, sacrifice fly, RBI single, wild pitch, walk, ground out to end 8-run inning with bases loaded.

    Thanks Rico

Wasn't Fried put on the DL because of a blister? Why is he still on the DL? It's been a long time.

Maybe this will ease the minds of the folks that wondered earlier this year, "if the farm system is so good, why aren't the teams winning?".

The system is on fire today. Demeritte shows his power isn't a fluke and Riley stays on a tear. Those 2 are legit power guys and we need it bad.

I would say Riley has got his feet under him in full season ball. Having a very good 2nd half.
