people thought he could be the same pitcher this year as Shelby Miller, they were right........

Seriously though, what in the world has happened to him, he dominated AAA his first stint and scouts almost universally thought he was a very solid MOR type arm.

Neslony sporting a .667 BA after going 2/3 again tonight. I would have held out for $9,000.

He was throwing zeros up until his mlb call up. Complete 180 since then, I would assume something is off.

It was a relief appearance as O'Flaherty pitched an inning to start for a rehab assignment. Wonder if that impacted when he was taken out.

Another excellent line though. 4 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 6 Ks. Fried is quickly becoming our best pitching prospect.

I wonder if this is how they could manage his innings the rest of the season since it's his first year off TJ. Maybe he goes fewer innings per start so that he can go deeper into the year.

Tanner Murphy has hit another home run tonight. This guy has a wRC+ of 148 over the past month. Slugging over .500 during that span with 5 HR. His contact rate is pitiful, but that guy has some pop to go along with probably the best all around defensive skills of any catcher in the system.

I'm diggin Frieds low walk rate and high strikeout totals. He could move super fast through the system. I know it's a good problem to have but a lot of these guys are gonna be knocking on the door around the same time.

Watched almost 20 games of his last year and wasn't impressed with him at all. Wasn't spectacular but I thought he's ok. I could be wrong but he's not it for us. Defensively? Good arm pop but not much else. Just my thoughts. Only saw once this year. Meh.
