He's 23 years old with some pop.
Moore was signed as a senior in the 2015 draft (7th round). Numbers look good, but that's not uncommon for college seniors in the low minors.
Know nothing about the guy but a good deal regardless. Got something for Francoeur and he goes to a contending team down the stretch.
Looking at the numbers, he seems to have a pretty decent grasp of the plate, wish his K rate was lower. 20% isn't ideal but his 11% BB rate is decent. Solid pop. Question is where does he wind up. positionally? I see he's payed primarily at 1B and 2B which is an odd combination. He's also been playing SS lately. So I'm guessing the move is to acquire him as a potential long play for the bench.

Big spike after the promotion to High Desert (which is supposed to be a great place for hitters IIRC). Haven't had time to get to a Crawdads game this season, so I didn't get to see him while he was in Hickory.
Wonder if this might signal that they're looking for younger players to stash away as injury options rather than recycling the Infantes/Moores/Bonifacios/etc. in the future?

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...
Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?
Francoeurs's last AB at a Brave was not pretty.
For a month of Frenchy I'll certainly take it.

Where is Foley headed, Atlanta right? I figured Texas got plenty already with the slots in the deal.
So is this to make room for Mallex's eventual return, or might they call up Peterson perhaps?
The slot the Braves gave up is worth $238k, not that it really matters.
I suspect we may not have seen the last of Frenchy in Atlanta, I can see him being re-signed in the off season
Odd move at a level. My guess is Moore is playing in the AA infield next year, but Foley doesn't appear to be much of a prospect. I've given up trying to discern the strengths/weakness of the financial machinations in these deals.

Dylan Moore, 24,: .263-14-59, 40 SBs moved to High Desert to replace Demeritte! 7th round pick in 2015, Central Florida standout.
Here is an audio interview with him from last August: LINK
Foley has played very little, but is a beast at 6-4, 230. Signed as a 40th-round pick from a Division III school, Rhode Island College.
Foley was the 1,196 player taken in the MLB Draft.
“I didn’t even know that I had been drafted until a friend of mine told me that my name had popped up on the Draft Tracker,” said Foley at the time. “I truly didn’t know if it would happen.”
