Would rather see our few decent position prospects keep their junk together, but lets hope he learns from it.

So which is the SSS that can be diminished? Last year and the 2nd half of this year when he has been really good, or the 1st half of this year when he was branded as lacking bat speed?

I think the bat speed knocks came in the offseason. It's a fact that he doesn't have elite bat speed, the question is whether or not that will keep him from becoming an impact major leaguer.

I don't think it will. Several great MLB players didn't have great bat speed. He just has to load up sooner. All about adjustment.

Talk about quick bat. Ozzie with a game tieing homer in nineth. Man the fan in me wants to see him when Mississippi season is over.

Definitely possible. It'll be interesting to watch. I think even those who are more down on him would expect him to have success early in his minor league career. The real test will come once he hits AA, I think.

I really like him as a prospect and hope he's able to make the adjustments necessary, but it is a real issue.

Five homers for Ozzie this year between AA/AAA at 19 years old. Not bad.

Ray-Patrick Didder gets his 20th OF assist last night. Talk about a guy who racks up the out of the mainstream stats. HBP 37 times.

Add the 36 stolen bases, and it becomes even more arcane.

Bet no one has ever done this version of the 20-30-30 at any professional level.

Curt Welch did it in the majors back in 1890-1891.

Why is Demeritte only playing 2B, but Moore has been moved around to SS/3B/1B? Do they plan to keep Demeritte at 2B? I assumed he'd be groomed to play 3B by now
