They just mentioned during the Mets game that since they're playing the Sunday night game at DC and have the 1 PM game on Monday in Atlanta, their plane would probably arrive in Atlanta at 4 am Monday morning. Interesting.

Yes. He isn't considering they are 6 and 6.5 out from Cincy from the 2nd WC. Btw, if you look at ESPN, they have 10 for the Nats. Just that the number is from the overall wildcard position.

That's not as bad as the radio side saying Uggla is very good defensively. They even were saying one of his strong areas is good range and a strong arm.

Joe raving over the marlins crappy shortstop with his -2.0 war ranks among his best.

Joe also said yesterday that Furcal was the best defensive shortstop in Atlanta he's seen. Furcal has a total of 51 DRS (defensive runs saved) for his entire career. Simmons is already well past that in just over a season in the Majors. Enough said.

I thought that was weird, too. Furcal was good. Really good, even. Simmons is otherworldly.

Furcal made people go wow with how strong his arm was. Simmons's arm may not be that strong but to throw a football comparison, Simmons is like like Aaron Rodgers, Furcal is like Jamarcus Russell.
