MLBTR indicates that Collmenter has a mutural $2.25 mil. option with a $150 K buyout. Apparently he looked very good in those late AAA starts.
Collmenter was really good with the Diamondbacks for a while.... wonder what happened.
This is a great move nonetheless.
He sucks. His fastball sits mid 80s. Not a ML starter.
Extreme flyball pitcher that never struck anyone out who lost velocity. Not a good recipe for sustained success in Zona.
