I love the way they are playing... I have enjoyed the way the team has jelled and is having fun, but I hate seeing our bonus pool disappear like this. But like I have said, I just can't actively route for them to lose -- and I have tried..

Can't possibly be viewed as anything other than a good thing. The 2017 draft may not be as good as this year's. We got the absolute haul we needed from the trades, the 2016 draft, and the international signing class. The most important thing with the next class is making sure we get the RIGHT guys at the top - if you need to go over-slot with the first few picks and go cheap in rounds 5-10, so be it. The system depth has been replenished - now go get a few more high-ceiling pieces.

I still can't believe the Friars stole Paddack from the fish for Rodney.. what an over pay... of course Paddack just went down with TJS...but still..
