That ball was pissed on. Gotta love October baseball.

Now we get another Texas-Toronto showdown!

Wow, they lost without using Britton. That reminds me of no Kimbrel vs LAD.

How long till those team brawl again I wonder? I am predicting at least one as those two hate each other a lot. Texas even has Gomez now so you know he'll be ready to start something if given a chance.

BTW, if Texas and Toronto brawl in Toronto will they air it on CBC's Hockey night in Canada broadcast? :)

Pretty sure everyone going to ask why Showalter left his closer in the pen.

Yeah, that's insane not bringing Britton in. TBS taking Showalter to task and bringing up the whole Kimbrel thing.

The post game is all over that already too. I thought he gambled not bringing him earlier and got away with it and shouldn't gamble again. He did and lost.

Agreed. Plus they needed the ground ball there too. It makes no sense unless Britton is hurt.

He just answered it saying he was fine but he trusted Jimenez to get it done. He's a good manager but he just had a Fredi moment in a must-win game and it cost them.

The @CaseyStern calls it "one of the worst managerial decisions" he's ever seen in postseason.

Note, if you visit @CaseyStern's twitter you'll see he questioned trusting Jimenez in such a situation two days ago. So he basically nailed what was to come.

Couldn't care less who wins, the Braves aren't in it so I have no interest whatsoever.

Fredi's was even worse because we already had the lead. But yes, that was a huge mistake.

SAV, it's almost time for some new icons. Maybe Bud Black picking his nose or something.

I know this may be controversial around here but I am going am rooting for the Mets for the playoffs. The Dodgers are the Yankees of the NL, can't root for them. Normally would root for three long suffering fan base which is the Cubs but I have a feeling the Cubs will turn into what the Red Sox are now. Used to root for the Red Sox because long suffering fan base but that ain't true anymore. Never going to root for a Peter Angelo's owned team although that is now moot. **** the nationals for offering Heywood 200 million amongst various other reasons. Don't Harbor much of an opinion about the Rangers or Indians but gonna go with the Mets. I have so many fond childhood memories involving the Mets. I don't hate them anymore. They will always be the lovable losers to me. They actually rebuilt the right way instsd of trying to buy other teams good players in free agency.
