BTW, I know Maholm walked the number 8 hitter and gave up the RBI hit to the pitcher. But a good second basemen makes that play ruled a hit for Lagares, Janish and EJ certainly do IMO.

    Nice.

Perhaps someone should reinforce one of the essential teachings of the labor movement: strikes can be an effective way to achieve your desired outcome.

Understood, I am concerned about his pitch count especially (and Loe coming in). Good news is that posters here in the Loe thread have assured me that Loe will only pitch mop up duty. If only I agreed with them.

Maholm is really starting to annoy me with this nibbling. If he doesn't get it together soon I'm afraid we'll see Loe.

What was that? That was a catchable ball but BJ played it terribly.

No way in hell Maholm is a part of the playoff rotation, right?

He's been bad but so has the defense, Uggla, Schafer and BJ Upton. Though at least Schafer's error wasn't costly and due to coming in hard for a throw. I don't know what BJ was doing there. I guess he had no idea where the ball was going.

This will be a long evening for me.
And I think we will see Loe next inning! This makes this evening even longer!

I think this will become a very high scoring game!

really don't care if Maholm gets the 5th inning for the potential win or not. If he can't get the first two hitters, I'd yank him.

I'd yank him too, I just wouldn't bring in Loe.

At times it seems like Schafer can steal at will.
