PBR isn't cheap beer, if you want to get drunk fo rcheap get Franzia. Or a good bum wine. Even go for some Mad Dog 20/20 in honor of the great Maddux

Magic number is now 11 though, thanks to the Phillies for helping us reach our goal faster.
18 pack here in Oregon for 10 bucks. You're right about Franzia though. Some of my favorite nights have involved a box of Franzia, a hookah pipe, and a joint.

I had a purple train wreck a few years ago after a Clapton concert. Funny story actually.

PBR was $0.50/can. Other than dumping some everclear in some juice, I didn't know how else to **** faced for $6.

And Franzia tastes like ****. Like, even more than PBR.

Franzia doesn't taste like more **** than PBR, that's impossible. Plus I can buy the equivalent of 5 bottles of wine for like 10 bucks. So I can get **** faced for like 5 bucks. And I'm talking my standard for ****faced which is probably way higher than yours

I've been dry for a long time, but in those golden days of yesteryear when I wanted a cheap knock-out punch, there was only one way to go:

Freeman has to be the team MVP, doesn't he? Missed a few games early, but the guy has been steady all year.

Colt 45 is not bad for a cheap drunk, but Franzia is still the best way to go.

This is not 100% perfect but my general cheap guide

During my college years I was a connoisseur of some of the finer malt liquors—King Cobra, OE, the old Crooked I. They were dirt cheap, and the inevitable headache was free.

Dave Chappelle as Samuel L. Jackson said it best:

"IT'LL GET YOU DRUNK! YOU'LL BE ****ING FAT GIRLS IN NO TIME! YOU MIGHT EVEN FIGHT A ****** OR TWO!"

That's not a complete enough list, and the prices are different than I'm used to.

    Is OE Olde English?

Falstaff, I mean Fallfast, was also a good cheapie.

We had some god-forsaken small breweries up here in Minnesota. Schell's re-invented itself and is now considered a decent small-batch company, but it was terrible (and cheap) for years. Hauenstein (another New Ulm, MN, brewery) was terrible. I haven't had a beer in 29+ years, but I can still "taste" a Hauenstein in my mind. The memory is that bad. Milwaukee's Best, Old Milwaukee, Blatz, and Rhinelander were some other cheap regional Minnesota/Wisconsin brews that were cheap and terrible.

Someone mentioned MD 20/20 and we used to float MD 20/20 on top of cheap beer. Two or three 12 ozers and you were pretty much out. Until you had to puke.

Cheap whiskey got me there too. Cream of Kentucky and Old Thompson could knock a guy out.

fleischmann's whiskey is $16 for 1.75L. And maybe $4 for the headache relief you'll need the next day.

Some may be. Franzia is still the most economic way to get drunk. Aside from cheap Vodka.

They're not bad, I bought some really ****ty canadian whiskey. But a 1.75 liter bottle of whiskey contains about 39 shots. Which is a healthy amount. But if you figure that's 40% abv, that's equal to about 5 oz of Franzia, meaning in a 5 liter bottle of Franzia is about the equivalent of 34 shots or so. Though there's in reality a bit higher of abv per Franzia (coming in about about a equivalency of 43.3% (aka the 34 shots would really be like 44 if you slid the remainder over) and it's cheaper than said whiskey.

I forgot a little side note with Franzia, puking up Franzia is a traumatic life experience. One time I drank most of a box (about the equivalent of 3 bottles of wine or so) and yeah, the next day I make the toilet purple.

    My college wet-bar consisted of:

    - Taaka Vodka (legitimately the devil's swill)
    - Pepe Lopez Tequila
    - Evan Williams Green Label (for those 'classy' evenings)
    - Fruit Punch flavored Four Lokos (I think they made these illegal [or watered them down], and for good reason)

When I lived in Korea a few years ago soju (very similar to vodka) was king. 20% ABV for ~2USD. I'm generally an extremely sedate guy, but that **** literally made me see red, in addition to leaving me with the most crippling hangovers I've ever experienced. Fortunately, over there, McDonald's delivers.
