I actually think this is bull****. I'm not defending the original pardon, but they are charging him based on the same crime... that's an egregious abuse of prosecutorial discretion; this a terrible precedent.
The original charges were by the state. These are federal charges. Not entirely uncommon. Also Bevin said he commuted his sentence because he thinks there is ablavk of evidence, having child pornography kind of changes that. I dont agree with using federal charges as a kind of double jeporday but this is not that.

thethe is right. China is a problem. What we should do is negotiate a trade deal with all the other countries in the pacific in order to decrease our reliance on Chinese trade. It could be a partnership, a sort of "Trans-Pacific Partnership" if you will.
