because of locks downs and freedom being taken away
these people weren't allowed to continue their job as if nothing was happening in the world
and thus freedom has made these people sick and can't go to work
thus why some plants are being forced to close
if only they were just allowed to go to work with no changes at all in safety etc
they wouldn't have gotten sick

what is causing the food plants to close is the workers getting sick...not complicated unless you are trying to shoehorn a simple situation into an ideological straightjacket

Just like shutting down the rest of the country is.
Being scared to walk out of your house is no way to live.
well that is true...but that is not the reason why the plants are closing and certain meats and other items are becoming hard to find at grocery stores

I don't think anyone is enjoying this. We would like it to be over. But it seems difficult for you to understand that people don't want to get sick and to pass on the infection to others. It is not an unreasonable concern. It is not unreasonable to be looking for plan that allows for those concerns to be addressed.

Those plants have been deemed essential. They are not being shut down by government. They are being shut down by the workers getting sick. It is hard to believe you think this is an argument against government action. There are so many better arguments to make your case. This is about the worse one available.

It's not unreasonable to understand that there is not a practical method of eliminating this risk.
At some point we are gonna have to take the plunge.

If arresting citizens for walking alone outside, or playing tee ball with their kid, or denying them the ability to buy seeds, or denying them the right to travel to a property they own, or reporting them for drive in church service, or, or, or...
