If Trump makes it I wonder if he will get challenged in the primary. That could be fun.

Yeah, folks generally hate Congress but like their rep. I'd guess that gerrymandering has only increased the likelihood of that.
Trump turns on Freedom Caucus.

So Mike Pence isn't around women unless his wife is present cause he can't control his sexual fantasies and the administration is banning words/phrases that are backed up by science
exactly why do republicans hate religious fundamentalists in the middle east again?
cause they are just the other side of the same coin it seems

Who cares?
His approval ratings, in general, haven't changed much at all over the course of the past year. He was elected in spite of them.
Presidential approval ratings don't carry more weight.
Saying 'Trump is fast becoming the least popular President ever' might sound like a zinger, but it's nothing more than a quasi-interesting factoid.

In 2002, Mike Pence told the Hill that he never eats alone with a woman other than his wife and that he won’t attend events featuring alcohol without her by his side, either.

Looks like the Nunes thing is devolving into the predictable flaming bag of ****.

I understand why people find this weird about Pence and I understand why a woman could point to this as an example of the structural sexism that professional women are faced with.
With that said, this seems like a well-intended absolutism Pence chose to show loyalty to his wife (and Christians do tend to love abstinence in whatever form). I think its a grasp at straws to read anything more into it.

I have a strict Muslim musician friend that won't allow another womans phone number in his phone.
Which struck me odd - but hey to each his won.
Suppose Pence ascends to POTUS -- would he not be taking meetings alone with Speaker Pelosi or Chancelor Merkle.
Sec of Transportation Chao of Senator Warren. Prime Minister of England or should a female be elected to lead France ?
Think about that.
This is 2017

Agreed. I understand why people think this kind of thing is odd and retrograde and illustrative of, as you say, "the structural sexism that professional women are faced with".
With the caveat that this kind of thing is, frankly, bad for women who exist outside of this kind of faith-based safe-space, and that he should not avoid accountability for that, I also have to say, hey, let's strive for some understanding of people whose expression of their faith in their daily lives is outside of our comfort zone.
That goes for evangelical Christians ---> other faiths and for non-Christians---->the Mike Pences of the world.
