I do laugh at the left mocking Trump for the initial claim...
Now that more info has come out that it actually may have happened, they're mocking him bc "well duh"
I think it speaks volumes because only Fox is pushing the story.
Kinda like only they pushed birther-ism and Obama vacations and "Crooked Hillary"
Pelosi airplane , Clinton Scandal du jour. Huma laptop
etc etc etc etc
Give me a call when NYT WaPO Guardian or even better McCaltchy gives it any space worthwhile
Let me ask this.
Candiate (A) stands up on national TV and asks a foreign actor - not just any foreign actor - to tap the phones of candidate (B)
Should that not raise the eyebrows of National Security?
I mean ...
Yet, local posters have no trouble with an organization with no accountability , Wikleaks randomly tapping the phones and emails of anyone they chose ?
Guessing here it depends on which color shirt is exposed.
Lastly, Trump claimed Obama ordered the wiretaps. Which is where "the left" laughs at Trump
Obama never ordered the wire taps.
Presidents don't "order" wiretaps.
At least up to now

I contend still that if there is meaningful evidence that Trump was colluding with Putin in some fashion, that would be a problem and we'd need to address it. Since you're 100% certain this is the case, I'm sure you can produce that evidence
I actually don't have a problem with Fox "pushing" those stories or "supposed stories". My problem with it is that it's always one way or one sided. they push all things anti-Dem but if something comes up that's anti-Repub they usually either don't cover it, or just cover bits and pieces of it and with about 10% of the fury with which they cover the other side of things. Fair and balanced is absolute BS. Nobody wants fair and balanced, they only want "my side is in the right and what I already thought was true IS true". Any network that is truly fair and balanced couldn't stay on the air because they'd go bankrupt because way too many Americans are just as closed minded as German citizens were in 1940, they just don't realize it, of course neither did those German citizens in 1940.

My problem with Fox,National Review etc is they begin with a premise then find arguments to support their thesis.
Not so sure that happens the other way -- or let me put it this way -- if it does it was a necessary reaction to the pointed views of tortured Nixon-Buckley-Reagan ites.
Herbert Hoover ... ?
I have been reading and interested in the blacklists of the late 1940's - 1950's
And the birth of far right popularity
Fox News sticks out like a sore thumb.
Going back 10 years Colbert nailed it "reality has a liberal bent"
The fight over ACA for example. My guess is with out the cover of Fox many many of our posters here would never think of yanking health care from people.
Let alone deny science.
Science tells people that the money machine is killing our air and water.
Fox speaks for the money machine.
Always has, always will -- ergo, science is bogus.
Evolution is bogus because it flies in the face of strict/literal biblical interpretation.
Evolution is part of science ergo science is bogus
See how this goes ?
No one started with the premise that Trump had Russian connections.
Paul Manafort brought that to our attention, reporters doing leg work uncovered Russian Connection.
According to the both sides do-it people --- MSNBC would have had to have had a meeting and said, Trump is a Russian agent-- let's run with it....
Is that what you people think ?
Hearst reportedly replied, “Please remain. You furnish the pictures and I’ll furnish the war.”

Right now Democrats are fighting to save the health care of Trump voters who are online calling them snowflakes and cucks.

I’m gonna reup my theory of the Trump/Russia connection.
I am open to a counter explanation.
There have been none.

It's kind of like a herd without a shepherd. Still very conservative in programming - but no real clear agenda.
I don't tune in much either, and when I do it's usually on SiriusXM, but I heard them tear into both Trump and Congressional Republicans on the day it was announced the GOP health care bill failed.
That never would have happened under Ailes.
