I'm not trying to blow the Trump is racist whistle, but when a group of literal Nazis are celebrating in his name because they like what they're hearing, it would really go a long way for Trump to personally call them out for being wrong about their message.

He already called for these acts to stop during his 60 minutes interview. Is he going to have to say something on a daily basis?

There's a difference between calling on people to stop performing violent acts in his name and calling out what's happening here. These are the racists that are genuinely terrifying, because even as they do **** like this, they are branded as the alt-right. If you do believe the alt-right is a representative term for this type of rally, you should be troubled because Steve Bannon is going to be helping to guide the nation. If you don't believe the alt-right is represented by this bunch, you should be outraged and call them out for their racism.

Never heard any comments of Al Sharptin and all his hundreds of meetings with Obama as a concern for you. Sharpton has made plenty of racial comments and has started numerous racial issues.

4 cops were killed over a 24 hour span. Did Obama make any comment about this?

The double standards and hypocrisy coming from the left is a joke.

I'm not shocked. They have moved so far to the left that their election hopes rest solely in dominating the minority vote. This leads to not being able to stand on any moral grounds when it comes to minoritiea doing the same stupid **** that any other demographic group does.

Notice how the cops and others are getting the blame on the Dakota pipeline protest. Have you heard any protester there mention Obama? If trump was president the protest would all be directed towards him because he hates native Americans and other minorities.

Obama can stop that whole Dakota pipeline fiasco if he wanted to. But let's not blame him.

I'm worried that this was only Trump firing a warning shot, well... that and lording his new kingship over them. Sounds like they didn't exactly kiss his ring.

Neat how part of Trump's "calling out" of the media is complaining about them accurately reporting on the prospect of his myriad of conflicts of interest.

I don't know why anyone would be afraid of Richard Spencer and his followers. His movement is incredibly insignificant in size and he's viewed by almost everyone as a pariah. Despite his extremist views, he doesn't push violence. His views are extreme and offensive, but I just don't see how he's a threat to anyone. It's like being afraid of the anarchist movement.

Bannon views white nationalists as an unfortunate part of the nationalist voting base. Similar to how communists are an unfortunate part of the leftists voter base. They exist and nationalism does pander to them a bit, but certainly far from the ways Spencer wants. When you read about Bannon, it's pretty obvious to see that he believes strongly in assimilating around western culture. He wants all races to flourish under his populist nationalist ideals. Bannon see an opportunity to really tap into the non white voting block and he's going to go after that. He's been on record stating that he wants to garner 40% of the african american vote. I'm sorry, but that's not someone who is going to push for race separatism. Now one thing that he's not going to do is be ashamed of being a white male.
    thank you weso1!

Trump loves--and is quite skilled at--leveraging media coverage to promote his interests. Anything else is crooked and biased. Come on, people. This is not a new development.

Yeah, a whole lot of Trump's issues with the media seem to be centered around them relaying his words and actions, and then electing not to fawn over them.

The media does give that tactic credibility, because they are in fact biased. It makes it easier for Trump.

Well, given what you've been saying about Obama not doing enough to rein in Black Lives Matter, don't you think the other side has the right to make the same request? Trump doesn't have to do anything as far as I'm concerned, but I think he should probably say more than a sentence in an interview. He's trying to bring America together after all.

    http://nypost.com/2016/11/21/donald-...-firing-squad/

Donald Trump scolded media big shots during an off-the-record Trump Tower sitdown on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f–ing firing squad,” one source said of the encounter.

“Trump started with [CNN chief] Jeff Zucker and said ‘I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed,’ ” the source said.

“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.

A second source confirmed the fireworks.

“The meeting took place in a big board room and there were about 30 or 40 people, including the big news anchors from all the networks,” the other source said.

“Trump kept saying, ‘We’re in a room of liars, the deceitful dishonest media who got it all wrong.’ He addressed everyone in the room calling the media dishonest, deceitful liars. He called out Jeff Zucker by name and said everyone at CNN was a liar, and CNN was [a] network of liars,” the source said.

“Trump didn’t say [NBC reporter] Katy Tur by name, but talked about an NBC female correspondent who got it wrong, then he referred to a horrible network correspondent who cried when Hillary lost who hosted a debate – which was Martha Raddatz who was also in the room.”

The stunned reporters tried to get a word in edgewise to discuss access to a Trump Administration.
“[CBS Good Morning co-host Gayle] King did not stand up, but asked some question, ‘How do you propose we the media work with you?’ Chuck Todd asked some pretty pointed questions. David Muir asked ‘How are you going to cope living in DC while your family is in NYC? It was a horrible meeting.”

Trump spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway told reporters the gathering went well.

“Excellent meetings with the top executives of the major networks,” she said during a gaggle in the lobby of Trump Tower. “Pretty unprecedented meeting we put together in two days.”

The meeting was off the record, meaning the participants agreed not to talk about the substance of the conversations.

The hour-long session included top execs from network and cable news channels. Among the attendees were NBC’s Deborah Turness, Lester Holt and Chuck Todd, ABC’s James Goldston, George Stephanopoulos, David Muir and Martha Raddatz,

Also, CBS’ Norah O’Donnell John Dickerson, Charlie Rose, Christopher Isham and King, Fox News’ Bill Shine, Jack Abernethy, Jay Wallace, Suzanne Scott, MSNBC’s Phil Griffin and CNN’s Jeff Zucker and Erin Burnett.

Arthur Sulzberger, publisher of The New York Times, plans to meet with Trump Tuesday.

There was no immediate comment from the Trump Team.
