lolRepublican President Donald Trump has set an ambitious 3.0 percent growth target for 2017, to be achieved through a mix of tax cuts, deregulation and infrastructure spending.
The Trump administration has so far failed to pass any economic legislation and is yet to articulate plans for tax reform and infrastructure. Chances are slim that the Republican-controlled U.S. Congress will debate and pass tax reform legislation before the end of the year.
So far, the political gridlock in Washington has not hurt either business or consumer confidence.
so, it was just heading that way anyway cause none of what he said would do has been done to make it go that way. lol

Trump insinuates his tax proposal will result in a higher burden for him. But we wouldn't know that because he won't release his taxes.

Republicans are looking at cutting nearly $1 billion from disaster accounts to help finance Trump's border wall.

Trump's tax proposals offer nothing to his working class voters. There is no getting around that unless he dramatically changes course..

President Donald Trump is promising billions to help Texas rebuild from Hurricane Harvey, but his Republican allies in the House are looking at cutting almost $1 billion from disaster accounts to help finance the president’s border wall.
The pending reduction to the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s disaster relief account is part of a spending bill that the House is scheduled to consider next week when Congress returns from its August recess. The $876 million cut, part of the 1,305-page measure’s homeland security section, pays for roughly half the cost of Trump’s down payment on a U.S.-Mexico border wall.
It seems sure that GOP leaders will move to reverse the disaster aid cut next week. The optics are politically bad and there’s only $2.3 billion remaining in disaster coffers.

It's not in the link you posted.

It seems this was done WAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY before Harvey came and they are going to reverse that clause, which is a good thing. It just look bad because someone politicized it, like you for instance and ate it up like Liberal sheep do.
The pending reduction
The quote is accurate -- the Republicans are looking ...
not sure what it is you and Tiki Boy don't get
.............
Reading the article is says " It seems sure ... "
Haven't a lot of things seemed sure the past year ?
amend:
Yes, you are correct these proposed cuts ere before Harvey but using the past as a guide in normal polirtical times it would be a no brainer the cuts would take a back seat.
Bear in mind if Trump doesn't get his wall he has vowed to veto raising the debt ceiling and shutting down the government.
Where else is the money.
That to me was the point of the article
" It just look bad because someone politicized it, like you for instance and ate it up like Liberal sheep do. "
Uh yeah, this is a political thread and budgets are political animals and the elephant in the room is even before hitting land Harvey is a political hot potatoe
