So long as the Baltics aren't given up. Got friends there who are really, really antsy.

I am not as pessimistic as many members of my liberal tribe. I worry about the Supreme Court taking us back to the 19th century on some issues, but if he can get an infrastructure package passed (with a way to pay for it), that would be a good thing. He'll have to prove that his campaign rhetoric was simply campaign rhetoric, but I'm ready to let results speak for themselves from this point forward.

Trump edged her in over $250,000 overall and won big-time with whites over that amount.

$250,000 is uber-wealthy? I'm talking the likes of Cuban, Buffet, Oprah, the Silicon Valley kings type of wealth.

They don't poll amounts above that. I'm guessing probably an even split. He won big-time with whites and there are a lot of whites over that amount. They are such a small part of the population that their votes don't add up to much in the whole scheme of things. My guess is a lot of uber-rich who want the estate tax repealed voted for him. They aren't as splashy as a lot of celebrities, but they are certainly out there.

"Hillary gets the vote from America’s richest citizens. Or at least she’s getting their cash.

Former Secretary of State and Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has collected $21.1 million for her campaign and its supporting political action committees from 17 U.S. donors on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Republican Donald Trump has received $1.02 million from 12 members of the group..."

Thanks for posting that. I wonder if money went to her campaign or PACs opposing Trump. Sheldon Adelson pumped $25 million into an anti-Hillary PAC in late October. That's not saying the rich folks funding Hillary didn't go the dark route as well.

As far as Hillary goes, I guess it pays to be on the Walmart Board of Directors.

I get Priebus, but I think Ingraham as press secretary would be a misstep. Not that she's not qualified, but she'd be a lightning rod. I don't see her helping unite the country.

I don't know how his first 100 days will go, I just hope we get that wall up ASAP to keep as many people as possible from flooding into Mexico. They're killing us because of NAFTA, if you haven't heard.

As far as Trump people in the media, probably all of them would be a lightning rod. There just aren't that many grizzled veterans in the business who are going to be rah-rah about serving in that capacity.

However, I have no shame. With the salary available, I offer my services.

I think the most positive news we've received since the election is that obviously Melania has hacked Donald's Twitter account because all the stuff I've read that he's had to say so far sounds like it came from a lucid and pretty decent sounding human being. A nice change from before the election.

Trump handed over the keys to his Twitter Account the week before the election or maybe 2 weeks before. As I understand he hasn't fully taken them back. SOmeone on his campaign staff has been using it.

I think its safe to say that Trump will not have control of his twitter while he is in office. With good reason of course.
