ACA boils down to public subsidies to buy private insurance. It's the center-right technocratic solution to expanding coverage.
So, ACA, some mild Keynesian stimulus at the ebb of the economy, and some halfass bank regs after the deregulated finance sector tanked the economy. The CFPB, which barely got off the ground.

Also, I don't know how you guys can look at a chart that tracks growth and unemployment for, say, the past decade and say some of this stuff with a straight face.
