Mark Turnbull, the head of Cambridge Analytica’s political division, took credit for the “Defeat Crooked Hillary” campaign, which was run through a Trump-aligned “political action committee” (Pac). Company staff described how their work was cloaked behind Pacs that carried out the “air war” for the Trump campaign – a form of collaboration that could be illegal under US election law.

Thinking back to a conversation you and I had during the primary season when Trump's coziness to Putin was first trial ballooned .

So the firm harvested private information from the Facebook profiles of more than 50 million users without their permission, according to former Cambridge employees, associates and documents, making it one of the largest data leaks in the social network’s history.
The breach allowed the company to exploit the private social media activity of a huge swath of the American electorate, developing techniques that underpinned its work on President Trump’s campaign in 2016.

Start here: "Our data informed all the strategy"
And yes, I absolutely still support improving diplomatic relations with Russia.
Why wouldn't I?
Why wouldn't you?
Where do you think this goes?

"Let me explain why I congratulated the guy who is trying to hack
our energy grid" is always a reassuring note from an American president.

I think the civilized world will ostracize/isolate Putin's Russia.
I also think Trump will be marginalized after the mid terms.
Regardless the party in power.
Of course I favor better relations with Russia.
Memory serves we agreed on that point.
We too agreed Putin as leader was an obstacle.
You have obviously changed your mind

Not only is Trump not willing to stop acting as if he owes
Putin his presidency, he's unwilling to even act embarrassed
for acting as if he owes Putin his presidency.

Verified account @RandPaul
It’s a good thing we have Republican control of Congress or the Democrats might bust the budget caps, fund planned parenthood and Obamacare, and sneak gun control without due process into an Omni...wait, what?
or you know, do what the non gerrymandered public wants.

and the problem with bias ?
their bias is right up front
my guess here is you would in this case agree with what they said, but like Hawk, disagree with the wrapping.
Ignoring the point.
In another era that would be called going for a cheap political point.
Not sure aimed at what, but a shallow talking point never the less

The problem is that the information you consume is so dumbed down/politically blunted that it's impossible to have discourse with you.
It's not that black and white. It just ain't.
You are smart, well-informed, knowledgeable, but the way you broad-brush the issues is painful.
Anytime someone tries to go into the nitty-gritty, you disappear.
