Knowledge is available in the public square. You have to want it.
My original undergraduate at Binghamton was wasted by me through lack of attendance and deciding that weed/video games were more important than my future. I still got out of it with a BA in Math. However, I went back to Queens College and had to endure pointless classes. I would study for 30 minutes a day and left with a 4.0 GPA and got the reqs necessary to take the CPA exams (which of course were a piece of cake).
My life, and earnings potential, changed when I wanted to make the change. It had nothing to do with the institution.
Society has forced our youth to go to school by making arbitrary minimum requirements for a position. Companies should hire people on 90 day contracts and not care about pieces of paper. Let the person prove they know the subject material.

College has become more and more irrelevant thanks to the internet... add in the rising costs, with diminishing returns for many degrees, and it is ripe for disruption.
My company has finally decided to remove the college degree as a pre-req for full time employment. I imagine many other major corps will follow suit

Lol.
According to three people cited in the Times report on Monday, Ross called acting NOAA Administrator Neil Jacobs and told him to fix the National Weather Service's contradiction of Trump's claim. When Jacobs opposed the demand, Ross told him NOAA's political staff would be fired, the Times reported.
The report also says Ross' threat to fire the employees is what caused NOAA on Friday to disavow a tweet from the NWS' Birmingham, Alabama, office that had contradicted Trump's claim.

You mean government subsidies
You just misrepresent legitimate criticism in order to avoid dealing with the reality at hand - an idiot criminal, lying fascist dictator wannabe is in the Oval Office. I think the walls are indeed closing in on him but not that he will ever be held accountable for his crimes. I've stated since the beginning that I though the institutions would in fact protect him, now that he is a member of the ruling elite.
But I think he should be held accountable if he's broken any laws for personal or political reasons. He's no more than a temporary office boy/ window dressing model, as is any president, and should be treated as such.
