Again, if hardliner conservatives and Libertarians dont understand the pulse of the American people we will have all out socialism. Warren may in fact be the messenger that convinces centrist americans to get on board.

Not surprisingly, a closer look at this info paints a different picture. First, the database matching being referenced is characterized as “weak,” which means that closer scrutiny would surely revise the numbers downward. Next, we’re talking about non-citizen individuals who applied for drivers licences or ID within a 22-year span, and also voted at some point during that period. Did some of those individuals become citizens during that period? We don’t know, because the provided data doesn’t include that information. If the ultimate goal is electoral integrity, both of those questions would need to be answered.

It’s consistently been the case that these attempts to prove widespread fraudulent voting have crashed on the rocks of actual scrutiny. They’re part of a cynical attempt to limit the franchise, and should be viewed with suspicion.

Ive read all of this. The article i linked was not to say ah hah here is the proof that millions of people vote illegally. Iys to show yet another weakenss in our voting records where nobody can say with confidence who is and isnt voting.

We will see more of these stories gradually come out juhst as we have with other states.

Ok, well it seems to me that the sensible solution is to ensure that only legal voters are voting while also designing the process to encourage as much legal participation as possible, because taking steps to make it harder to vote only benefits the entrenched power structures that you’ve identified as problematic. Seems like your newfound appreciation for economic populism would point you in the right direction, so I’ll be patient until that particular lightbulb switches on.

One of if not the most absurd positon taken on by the left in recent years is that government issued ID as a requirement to vote is some sort of an impediment. It doesnt make any sense and would be by far the easiest way to ensure the integrity of our elections.

    "the left" ???????

I would think your libertarian friends would find it an impediment if not more so.
    Are they "the left" ?

"the left" has become the generic term for whatever anyone wishes to demonize in relation to color, gender, religion or business regulation

Ive never heard/read one libertarian voice denounce the call for voter id.

The left are the majority of the democrats just like the right is the majority of republicans.

Good ol sturg. Often wrong, but seldom in doubt.
Oh golly gee, she has a bunch of degrees!

Tell me Julio, what's your thoughts on her wealth tax? You've never once answered my questions about this stuff but hell I'll try again:

    1. How is it constitutional? Is Warren intentionally ignorant or does she not care?

    2. How did this work out for France? Let me guess, this is different!

    3. Does she think there is some magical government database of people's assets? How does the government collect this info without a huge invasion of privacy? What are we going to classify as assets?

    4. I know y'all hate it when we bring math into the equation here, but does she understand the destruction this would cause?

Im trying to stop socialism from taking full hold in this country. If you choose to ignore those that have not taken part in the positives of capitalism then you will be part of the reason why capitalism ends.

The citizens of our nation decide its future. How are you going to convince enough people that the market is the answer for everything when people are struggling to love day by day? Bannon predicts that future will be one of two forms of populism. Capitalistic or socialistic. I prefer the former.

I think we'll do what Sweden did and go to socialism and things will go to **** and we'll get a government that comes in a has to fix things.

ACA was a good example but unfortunately the sheep we're convinced still that that too was capitalism so now we need more.

Once burns everything down we will go back to freedom. Will be painful.

You can't stop anything. The sooner you figure that out, the more accepting the future will be. All you do is rant on and on. The US is not a conservative country anymore. The progressive trend is only just beginning. Hopefully universal healthcare is just a first step.

seriously, every time i see a tweet or video of the president or one of his sheep talking about how he was elected to do this ****

i remind myself that trump didn't win a majority of the vote in the republican primary and didn't win a majority in the general election

    no majority wants his agenda

Conservatism is growing in western society. AFD in Germany / Le Penne in France / Geert Wilders in netherlands / Bolsnaro in Brazil / Orban in Hungry / Poland / Brexit
