    Rank our minors rotations

How would you rank out rotations?

My rankings - certainly open for argument --- lots of talented arms.

    1. Mississippi
Fried, Allard, Soroka, Wiegel, and Withrow

    2. Florida
    Harrington, Sanchez, Toussaint, Gohara, Pike

    3. Rome
Wentz, Anderson, Bryse Wilson, Caicedo, Jeremy Walker

    4. Gwinnett
    Sims, Wisler, Blair, Newcomb, Jackson

There is certainly something to be said about the fact that the standard gets higher as you climb the ladder as Sims/Wisler/Blair/Newcomb were all studs in the lower levels and they have all lost some luster to some degree. My point being the younger guys haven't really had as much of a chance to fail yet.

In the Gwinnett roster thread, they said that Jackson was going to be a reliever. Below Miss. don't know enough about the lower level prospects, save Anderson, but have heard good things about the crop. Think that Gwinnett needs to be ranked higher. What criteria are we using? Sims, Wisler, Blair and Newcomb have excellent opportunities to reach the majors with at least 2 of them making lasting impacts and one be very effective. Hopefully, my estimate is too conservative, and they all make it! Fully expecting one or two to be traded in the process, assuming that there are no other hiccups (i.e. injuries). Simply getting a major league start is a big accomplishment. Sticking and having a sustainable career counts for something.

Mississippi is #1 by some distance because imo there is a significant gap after Allard and Soroka among out pitching prospects. I've felt that Soroka has been underrated by most of the outfits that put out the lists, and some of our other prospects have been overrated.

Just based on potential ceilings, pretty tough to rank anyone ahead of the Fire Frogs. Not quite as deep as some, but there's not much doubt that Gohara and Touki have the highest "Ace" potential - as well as the bust concerns that go with them.
Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

Not as deep as Missisippi 1-5. And I think Fried and Allard have absolutely as high a ceiling as Gohara/Touki. Well, maybe not Touki, but there's about a 1% chance of Touki hitting his complete ceiling.
