Wow ... apparently Yordano Ventura was the in same car and also died.
Edit: Nevermind, source corrected story. Ventura died in a seperate crash. Either way, horrible news.

According to MLBTR, Ventura was the starting pitcher in Marte's last major league game. How eerie.
I mean how many automobile related deaths even happen per day in the DR? And for both to be well known baseball players in their communities....
