Well this will make some posters here happy he also was pretty adament that Jordan Schaefer is a fourth outfielder.
Wood must be starting to hit a wall, because his last two starts have been absolutely awful. Not exactly making a strong case for a playoff start.

Minor, Teheran and Medlen are locks. Right now it's just who's better between Maholm and Wood
Would be nice for Beachy to return healthy and take both of them out of the discussion.

The more disturbing thing about this game is getting owned again by Kyle Freakin Kendrick and the prospects of a sweep with Maholm against Hamels tomorrow. This team has picked a bad team to stop hitting and it's going to come back to cost them in the post-season.

Look, plain and simple....Uggla does not need to be in the lineup or post season roster. Enough is enough of his sh*t. BJ needs to be on that same chopping block.
Why should BJ (who has sucked for less than a year and has recently been on fire) be on the same chopping block as Uggla? Uggla has had YEARS to turn it around.
Upton has been playing better ball than Schafer. Since the beginning of August Bossman has a .664 OPS and Jordan a .503. Since June 1st Schafer is at .618 and Bossman is at .676.
Upton has sucked but Schafer has sucked more since June. And Schafer has also sucked much more over his career than Bossman
So I'll go with the hotter hitter and the better career hitter. Only way Bossman is benched for the post season is if Jason is healthy. Then you put Terds or Gattis in LF.
As far as Uggla, largely the same thing. Janish is hot ass with the bat and while Elliot Johnson is hitting now, that won't continue.
That said we should be hitting them in 7th and 8th and that's it. Til Jason comes back
