The science is not concrete on what causes pitchers injuries. With absolutely no basis behind this opinion i feel it's over use in the developmental years 12-16 as opposed to innings logged later on in life. It's better to err on the side of caution so I see where you are going with it.

With virtually all the things we discuss and debate about around here, we are operating in the realm of probabilities rather than certainties. It is a fact that pitchers in their late teens and early 20s have a higher risk of injury after they experience a big increase in the work load. Nothing "concrete," whatever that means. But the risk or probability of injury goes up by a non-trivial amount.

Atlanta Braves still in on Angel Pagan according to club source
Yeah. I don't like the way bref does that. It's gotten me a couple of times. And I would agree for the most part. If I'm wanting a 4th OF to be a defensive upgrade then Pagan would not really be my 1st choice. The positive with them is there is a good chance he could be a decent bench bat. Certainly better than what we have now.
Kolby Allard also going to AA.
I Fried, Weigel, Soroka, Allard reported rotation so far.
Guessing Gohara, Touki, Sanchez in A+
Chapman outrighted.
Roe and Hernandez will both make the team if we go with 8 relievers.
Roe? Maybe we are trying to tank for 17
Ivermectin Man
6 RHPs in the pen....seems excessive
