That's a good list. After a brief look, the only things I might disagree with are:

    - I think Ellison and Seymour may both get bumped to A+ even though they didn't have a lot of success last year.
    - I think Rodriguez will start in Atlanta
    - I think Cruz will start the year in Rome

I could agree.. splitting hairs with Srod.. I think to start he will be splitting time with several positions until he forces his way into an everyday job. but I expect him to play 4 days out of week at least, even to start the season... I just don't think he will have a set position right off. Snit is a loyal guy and will probably give everyone their starts from last years team.

Ellison will probably start in Rome being only his 3rd season in pro ball.. with a quick advancement if deserving. I think Anfernee, yes high A..

    agree on Cruz..

they are.. I think Miss. will be great too.. they will also get a few of those A+ guys on promotions. Gwinnett looks better than it has in years. finally prospects and not MLB retreads..

Every team has several guys that are gonna be a ton of fun to keep up with. Having another top draft will make it even better. Hopefully Newcomb will really shine bc we need him to step up and occupy a rotation spot in the majors next year.

Davidson still has a shot to be something, I think. While his time in pro ball hasn't been great, it's also not like it's just been a complete disaster, and he's going to start the year at 20. He needs to cut the Ks way down, but he's still got a shot.

While catchers are often in platoons, it's a mistake to think that Lucas Herbert won't be starting somewhere, probably Florida, most of the time.

Ventura will also be a starting OF at Rome.

I'm not sure there's any real room in the organization for Davidson. I could easily see him traded or cut.

You're correct on Herbert and Ventura, I think. As for Davidson, there's no way we're cutting a guy less than 3 years after we drafted him in the 1st round, especially when he's shown promising signs and we've already promoted him to A+ by the time he was 19. That's just not a possibility. We could trade him, but he has no real value right now, so there's not much reason to do that. Might as well keep running him out there and see what happens. Again, he's just 20.

There are probably 15 guys that will platoon through out.. I wouldn't worry too much about starting positions. Davidson has plenty of room in this org..He is only 20..

Derian Cruz didn't play that well at Danville, but I think he'll be the SS in Rome. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt Gonzalez was the starting 2B in Florida. Kevin Josephina will also be in the mix at 2B in Rome. I thought they were thinking of putting Seymour in the OF. Anyway, lots of guys and I think they will trend young and use some of the college guys drafted in 2015 and 2016 as back-ups. I really like Mooney and hope he gets some ABs. One of those guys like Kleinknecht that we should keep around.

there are some interesting decisions and guys to watch, that is for sure. The main thing that jumped at me is how good all those rotations looked and how Gwinnett wasn't a bunch of MLB retreads.

I think Mel Rojas Jr. will be sarting somewhere in AAA, Tyler Pike will be in the AA rotation and Jared James will be in LF at Florida.

I also think Didder moves up to AA and Lien to AAA.

Otherwise I agree with most. There's a lot of depth there.

If Micah doesn't win the Job, then I wouldn't be surprised to see Rojas get a spot on the 25 man as our 4th OF.. He might be the best CF replacement we have left.

I'd map it out and try to figure out how to get Dickey pitching the first or second game in our sets as much as possible, preferably the game before Folty. I might even move him around some to keep the others at normal rest trying to take advantage of the next day knuckeball hangover.
