Joe Simpson can say some idiotic things at times. Just talked about how the Reds were having a letdown at Cubs after sweeping the Cards this weekend. Problem is the Reds played the Dodgers. The Cards played the Pirates.
Well, Hand worked the Johnsons cautiously, but with great aplomb.
It'll be interesting to see how Medlen and Minor do in the playoffs. They don't have the big rep, but they're in pretty good form. Teheran too will be interesting to watch.

Ayala just doesn't impress me with his stuff. When he gets people out they are mostly getting themselves out. Hard to understand how he gets the 8th inning. Walden and Downs must still be hurt.
