Man makes a parody Facebook page for his local PD. Clearly satire. Police arrest him and confiscate all electronics he and his roommate own and even his roommates guns. The dude never denied making the page and they were able to find out he made the large from Facebook. Theres no reason they needed his electronics other to fish for unrelated "crimes". They end up charging him with hacking based on a few people calling the non emergency police line to inform them the large existed
Cops claimed this was a disruption of public safety. I would be surprised if anyone here among non lawyers or legal professionals know this was a bogus arrest meant to intimidate and harass someone the police disnt like and a clear violation of the 1st amendment but the court rules qualified immunity for the crooks that victimized him.

A Father kills his wife and kidnaps his 15 year old daughter. Police catch up to the Father. The girl runs to police.... cops shoot and kill her...... claim she was "charging" at her.... claim she "possibly" had a gun and was shooting at them...... the only gun recovered was on the Father. Absolutely disgusting, but at least they were white so no riots likely incoming.

LAPD officer killed during a training exercise. Cops claim he fell on his head while grappling with another officer and suffered a fatal spinal cord injury. A lawyer for his family days he was investigating a gang rape by 4 other LAPD officers, one of whom was present at the time. The victim also suffered broken ribs, a collapsed lung, and severe liver damage...... from falling in his head...... but dont worry its inability facility with tons of security cameras and tracking exercises are typically filmed..... oops or eant caught on camera. Nothing to see here.

Cop gets caught in a To Catch A Predator type sting trying to meet a 15 year old for sex. Gets no jail time with the Judge citing his service as a police officer as one reason he gets no jail time. Shouldn't this work the other way around? Dude was a child sex predator with a badge, surely he never used that to pray on people.....

Compare this to the perceived grievances of Trump against the FBI. If a cop can lie to get a person put in jail on false charges for years, not face criminal charges, and then get qualified immunity by the courts, how can you expect your perceived grievances to be taken seriously. Republicans could advocate for real accountability for crimes by law enforcement. Instead they just cry like babies.

I am going to jump to the conclusion that none of you are lawyers or cops but every single one of you knows that flipping the cops the bird is a constitutionally protected action and is not an attempt to flag down a police officer for help. Despite that these cops blatantly break the law and stop and detain a young man for flipping them off. These interactions are loaded against the citizen. If he does anything the slightest bit that can be interpreted as breaking the law he will be arrested and/or fined, but these cops can break the law and a have no threat of being arrested on the spot. Even if the victim complains there is a 6 months long "investigation" when all the facts are clearly laid out by anyone watching the video. Keep in mind that the first officer turned off his body cam during the interaction which is suspect as **** and its only because the other officer had his on that we got the end of this encounter. Now you tell me for what reason a cop would turn off their body cam here except to prevent evidence that can be used against them.


What these cops did here should be a mandatory minimum 1 year in prison and a 25k fine. At minimum. If this were to go to a criminal court the cops lose 99 out of 100 times but the DA wont prosecute because they depend on the local cops supporting them. Its a corrupt relationship. There needs to be an option for the public to press criminal charges when government refuses to enforce the law on other government. If the victim sues and even if he wins, the court would likely only award him 10k or less because he wasnt beat up or arrested. Thats how much your rights are worth to the court. Now look at the Carter Paige FBI thing. They apply the same standard to that with what Clinesmith did. Thats how I knew there would only be a slap on the wrist. Thats why I told you the courts wouldnt award him any damages. I only laugh at it because I refuse to be outraged when Republicans rights are violated when nothing is done when cops do it to the average citizen. Fix it for everyone, dont just cry when it happens to you. These cops and Clinesmith should be sharing a cell right now. Its not anti-cop to want the law applied as strictly to them as its applied to us.

It's not just zero consequences it's an incentive. There are times when it might be legally justifiable to shoot someone but it's still the wrong thing to do. Giving cops a paid vacation after shootings works as an incentive to shoot people. I am convinced the Amber Guyger shooting was motivated by wanting that 6 week paid vacation that comes with an officer involved shooting. I dont know what exactly the solution is here because there is a need to give cops a break after these incidents..

Heres an actual positive reform. New policy limits cops ability to use minor violations to fish for serious crimes. They actually have to say on their bodycams what they are looking for and why they suspect it. A common tactic by cops has been to flood high crime areas and strictly enforce minor violations to fish for more serious crimes. While more searches and stops does increase the amount of illegal things found like guns and drugs it also negatively impacts the law abiding people in those areas. The good people in these areas not only have to worry about the criminals but get constant fines and arrests for the minorest of things. Take your wifes car to work and she left her prescription pill bottle in the car, thats a crime. Change lanes with your turn signal on for only 50 feet, now your days pay is owed to the city. And when these people dare to complain they get treated as if they are the bad guys who should thank the cops for treating them this way.

A 15 year old boy was sexually abused by a Sheriffs officer. When the family complained publicly and threatened to sue CPS showed up at their door claiming an "anonymous" complaint. They placed the family under investigation and claimed allowing their son to have a cell phone, access to the internet, and a car made them complicit in the abuse by the cop and issued a preliminary report finding the family guilty of neglect. The family gets a lawyer and gets this **** all thrown out but then sue the CPS officers...... and the courts give them qualified immunity. Absolute hore**** legal system we have here.

2 men exonerated and set free after it was revealed one witness was coerced by police to lie by threatening to take away her kids. And the fact that cops threatened an innocent woman and framed two men forcing them to spend ages 17 to 52 in prison raises no red flags whatsoever. No immediate arrest of the criminals who framed him. No investigation to see how many other times this happened. Just sweep it all under the rug and pretend like setting them free is where the story ends. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Louisiana prisons are holding people in prison long after their release dates and order from Judges that they be freed. This is some bull**** that should be criminally prosecutable. In one example shown the prison waited 10 days before even starting to process the paperwork for an inmate. These mother****ers need to be held in criminal contempt of court and put in those same prisons. You can bet your ass any prison official put in prison for not releasing an inmate in a timely fashion wont spend an extra month in prison because of paperwork. That mother****er will get out the second his time is up or a judge orders it. When they can get away with it and the only repercussions are lawsuits where the tax payers pay out there is no incentive to fix the problem. I tell you what, if I was a judge and ordered an inmate released the person responsible for it would be held in contempt of court if that person wasnt released within 48 hours and I think thats generous, it should be 24 hours.
