This proves all that talk from good cops about disliking bad cops as much as the rest of us is just that...talk.
These clowns are unconcerned with eliminating murderers from their ranks, and instead are failing to do their duty in support of them. This is the underlying issue with policing in the US...no concern for justice, only concern for that silly tin badge.
We can point to these "sick outs" the next time any fool in blue tries to say they are against bad cops doing bad things...clearly they support it.
Let's not confuse the issue by bringing up irrelevant anecdotes.
The problem is cops killing folks unjustifiably. As expected, after years of eschewing data and science, trumpkins are going to suddenly start supporting "data" that says police brutality isn't an issue, so we need to keep the conversation on topic.
Cops kill people who should not be killed, and it needs to stop. Whether they kill blacks more than whites, or only a few bad cops do the killing, or arrest people for dumb reasons, the killings need to stop. Period.
I think a cop was involved in a wrongful killing and should be in jail. Who cares what the formal charges were as long as he's gone?
His fellow cops just got done saying they are against police brutality, and are now protesting police brutality being punished.
So yeah, I'm against that disgusting hypocrisy too. Good riddance to those clowns if they don't want to work for a force absent murderers. Not having to pay their draining pensions will be a help too, so...bye Felicia. Enjoy your next job as a mall cop.

Yeah, and that review system has been working so well...he was arrested because he shot a fleeing man in the back while he was holding a taser with no shots remaining in it. Why would you even comment from a position of extreme ignorance having not seen the video in question?
That clown in blue belongs in jail, right where he is. I hope he gets the warm welcome he deserves.
Any cop who can't do their job without shooting someone in the back, or cracking open their head on the concrete doesn't need to be a cop. I'm delighted those cops are quitting.

Olympia Mayor Cheryl Selby knelt before BLM a few days ago, but has a change of heart after they vandalized her home...
“I’m really trying to process this,” she told The Olympian over the phone Saturday. “It’s like domestic terrorism. It’s unfair."

Who else called it "domestic terrorism"?
Restricting police unions’ rights or ceding bargaining power to community groups would require a lot of political will. Although change is coming fast to places such as Minneapolis, where city council members recently pledged to disband the police department, both Democratic and Republican officials in most cities have historically been loath to challenge police unions on reform.
Both police unions and cities have been acting rationally in the way they bargain contracts, said Catherine Fisk, a professor at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. When the money isn’t there for raises, cities sometimes offer disciplinary protections instead. It makes sense for the union to accept those, and it makes sense for the city to offer them, since the liabilities that municipalities face for police misconduct aren’t as great as they should be, she said.

The best way to stop a bad guy with a gun is to make sure he doesn’t get a gun.
RealWorld Tactical’s training regimen is the embodiment of the “warrior” culture that permeates American law enforcement. It preaches that police work is inherently violent, and that officers represent the last opportunity for law and order in an increasingly dangerous society. In this world, police are alone, even reviled by the public — their actions misunderstood and the threats they face underappreciated.
“They are taught that they live in an intensely hostile world. A world that is, quite literally, gunning for them,” writes Seth Stoughton, a law professor and former police officer, in a piece for the Harvard Law Review. “Death, they are told, is constantly a single, small misstep away.”
