Such a wide difference in the recovery time is weird to me. 3-5 months is what I heard and that's quite a difference
Well, if he comes back as Stephanie Rodriguez, we'll be able to understand the need for recovery time.
First, the joke is in bad taste. The perp in the stolen police car died and Rodriguez' wife and kids were hospitalized. He probably felt like any injury he had was unimportant at the time.
That said, the Braves have always, and that is an absolute ALWAYS, covered up injuries whenever they could.
Sean and his family are alive. That's more important than any releasing of any baseball related injury information. It sucks we won't have him, but the bigger picture is what really matters here.

It's called HIPAA. Rod will be out longer than 3-5 months. Probably the whole season.
Yeah, I hope the reasoning is that that the human side of this matters more than the baseball/business side.
Torn rotator cuff....hate that for SRod. Praying he and his family recover fully.
