Crazy. They used to not release the schedules until the Winter Meetings, then they used to not release the schedules until the GM Meetings, then they used to not release the schedule until the World Series week, now it's September, the season before.

I don't care when it's released. It's just odd that they're releasing it earlier and earlier every year.

Guess that's the business thing to do now. NFL used to be the same way. They wouldn't release the following season's schedule until after the Superbowl. Then they started releasing it earlier and earlier.

Next year's Wrestlemania location was never released until the current year's Wrestlemania when they'd reveal it on-air, now they release the locations almost 2 years in advanced.

In 2005, the London Olympics were announced 7 years prior. Now they're already discussing the bids for 2020, 2024 and 2028.

Same for World Cup. Brazil's announcement came in 2010 I think. Well now they're already discussing the 2018, 2022 locations and starting the bids for those.

The Braves are coming to Seattle! Might be my first game/series to attend since the monsoon game in SFO back in '10! I'm so stoked! :D

i hate the MLB scheduling. braves haven't been to Oakland since 2003.

2014 will the be 2nd time the a's come to oakland since '03. how hard is it to cycle back and forth every 3 years? with that format, the braves would've played in oakland in '06,'09 and this year.

Glad the Braves come to Houston next year. Promised my nephew to take him next time the Braves came to Houston.
