It was. This is a great example of why FP% is a failure and the advanced defensive stats are the way to go. That should of been an out regardless.

Agreed. I think TURBO was simply stating that it was ruled a hit. Don't think he was making an excuse.
Some overly harshness on Dansby here. He got doubled off on a line drive. If he had been on the bag they could have doubled off Freeman just as easily.
As for the infield hit, it would have taken a perfect play to get the runner. When the ball hopped on him a little keeping him from fielding cleanly he had no chance. He probably makes that play most of the time but it's not an easy play.
Man, Jace just look lost.
