If td finds a way to lower his K's and still maintain his power you are looking at a good player.

He was a projected power bat with catcher as a bonus. He was also Pac-12 Player of the year. The credentials warranted a high pick, but I think the Braves should have kept gambling on high upside high school players to fit the mold of the next wave of talent. I'm not ready to jump ship on him but this may be a terrible pick when all is said and done.

Yeah. He was at 24% in the AFL compared to the 30's in both low and high A.

Also....he has changed his two strike approach from what I've seen (once so far). In college he shortened up his swing. I've noticed a lot of second guessing so far. Cruz, Pache have better approaches overall which is concerning considering their background.

Pache coming up with 2 in scoring position.. see if he stays hot... but after a pitching change..

1B open, so wonder if they will be careful with him.

Boom.. on second pitch dumps a single to score 1 with tying run 90 feet and 1 out.

Wild pitch, tie game.. now go ahead run at 2nd with great speed..

Cumberland didn't like us talking about him, so he leads off 8th with a single.. Cruz pinch runs.. sacrificed to 2nd.. steals 3rd and comes home on throw by catcher.. nice..

Oh and Matos was excellent.. his BB was all close pitches. 3Ks otherwise.

Max Fried had been listed as the probable pitcher for Mississippi tonight. Looks like that has changed, and Weigel is now going to start. Fried listed as a starter on Saturday.

was hoping to watch that game with Fried.. but I would rather err on the side of caution and just have to watch that scrub Weigel..

Jon Kennedy made the 9th interesting. 1st and 2nd 2 outs and ripped into right.. just right at the RF. Rome is now 6-1..

Looks bad, but they were drafting towards perceived organizational need and that can backfire.

I'm on my way to see the Fire Frogs in action tonight. My first view of a Braves affiliate team.

not knocking Pike, but sucks you get that draw with the other talent floating in that rotation.

Bookend him with Bryan de la Rosa or Caratini. He's not long for this franchise.

Crowds have been under 1,000 so far. Is that the norm in the FSL?
