David Freitas, joining the Braves for the duration as Flowers' replacement/third catcher in Sept. has had two closer enounters with current Braves.
Drafted by the Nationals in 2010, in 2012 he was traded to the Athletics even-up for Kurt Suzuki.
In December of 2013, the A's sent him to the Orioles as the PTBNL in an earlier deal for closer Jim Johnson.
Braves drop Burgos off 40-man roster to make room.
