Of course the Braves traded a fair number of their players along the way.

    191 is 95.5% of 200. That's pretty much the average 2-hole hitter.

How'd he match up in avg and ops?
Haha ok hoss. You lack of stats knowledge is funny.

I suppose you think a guy with a 1.000 OPS is only 10% more valuable than a guy with a .900 OPS huh? Haha, derp!!

So, that difference over 600 or so PAs is terrible to adequate? If we got $1 for each time we got on base in 600 PAs, you ended up with 200 and myself 191... you middle class and me poor?

You have zero idea what you're talking about. Look up and understand stats that rate guys as a percentage better than MLB average (OPS+, wRC+, etc), and educate yourself.

The #1 clue someone doesn't know what they are talking about is trying to dumb it down to something simple like finances for a 5 year old (you see it all the time with folks talking about global economics by comparing it to household finances).

Or keep being a moron. Your choice.

Average #2 hitter in MLB in 2016 had a .333 OBP.

So no, he did not do well in the #2 hole last year.
You brought up OBP and that only to quantify a good 2-hole hitter. Now you change it

Quick question, do you think a player who plays average defense, hits at an average clip, and is an average baserunner is an average player?

    No, he's an all star.

I'm not saying Garcia is an average player. All I was saying is that if an obp of .333 is adequate that an obp of .318 isn't horrible. Is it good? Nah

A 318 OBP based on a league average OBP of 333 for the #2 position would be something like 95 OBP+ if such a stat would exist. Not horrible but not something we should strive for. Had Adonis hit 2nd all year his 318 OBP would rank 23rd out of 30 teams for OBP out of the #2 spot.
