Are we going to revisit the Braves of the 80's now?

Call up no names, trade for no names or washed up players? Make foolish moves?

But as I recalled we brought up some from the minor leagues that went on to do some impressive things with growing pains like Glavine, Smoltz, McMurtry and others. Got shellacked while growing up, what can it hurt with Sims, Newcombe and others. If FF is out for a while, we might average 3 runs a game and the prospect of wining is out the door.

We are already averaging more than three runs a game. Our team ERA (even with the uptick) is 4.74 which is 27th in MLB. I really don't think it matters who we put on the mound this year.

McMurtry kind of had instant success. His pains came after he was up. Understand that wasn't the point, but it'll first take moving vet starters before bringing up kids from AAA, obviously.
