if the FO would've admitted colon and collmenter were mistakes before letting the wheels come completely off, we could've potentially swept this series. I hope colon doesn't record another out... it's the only way they'll cut him
Collmenter isn't a big deal. He was pitching very well for us before those last two disastrous outings and he was super cheap. Colon is a huge mistake... and expensive for what he's doing.
It sucks that in an effort to stabilize the rotation (Colon, Dickey, Garcia) that they have assembled the worst rotation in baseball.
We need to see Newcomb or Sims up just to see what they can do... let's start really evaluating the future.
I've been fine with Dickey and Garcia has been trending slowly better. Colon sucks.
You would think The Genius would be better at evaluating pitching talent considering they have decided to build the system around...pitching.
Dickey's FIP is over 6 and Garcia's is near 5. Both are awful.
While not great, dickey has 0.3 bWAR and Garcia is 0.5 bWAR. Colon is -0.5
