    Mike Minor

Anyone looked at what Minor has been doing for the Royals lately?

In 24.2 IP (all in relief) Minor has a 1.98 ERA, 25 Ks, 7 BBs, and a WHIP of just 0.89.

And he's not just doing this as a LOOGY either. He's faced more right handers than lefties and his numbers are only slightly worse against righties.

It annoys me to see him having success for another team. It's not that I want him to fail, I'm just annoyed at a system that probably made it easier for other teams to sign him than for us to keep him and see if he ever got over the arm problems.

Yes the system has been kind Minor. He's probably made 10 million while rehabbing his penis and shoulder injuries.

My guess is he will return to sucking soon.

I'm happy for him. I had always hoped we would have signed him to rehab with us. Perhaps there is a world where we sign him when he's a free agent again.

His playoff start against Kershaw is one of my favorite Braves moments of the past few years.

He's got an option that I wouldn't think is likely to be picked up. It's possible.

This is just proof that any starter can be a proficient relief pitcher if used correctly.
