I guess Jason's agent was a little off:

#Braves’ Heyward will miss the rest of the regular season, per his agent, Victor Menocal. Availability for post-season to be determined.—

    J-Hey

This would be my playoff lineup. Then had Jordan, Reed, or Bossman be defensive replacements.

Love this line up...need to come out early and pecker slap these Cubs and take it on back to the room and cheer for Stanton...,and I guess the rest of the marlins.

My only nit pick would probably be to have Chris Johnson 4th and move Gattis to 6th, but I know Fredi has been unwilling to do that all season.

Eh Gattis is kinda hot right now. So I won't complain. And Johnson has no power. They'd probably if they bumped Gattis down put Mac at 4 Johnson 5 and Gattis 6. Johnson has no pop so I wouldn't bat him 4th. I don't necessarily believe in lineup roles. But Johnson should hit 2, 5 or 6 and that's about i.t

If the Braves win today, we should probably wish for the Nationals to win as well. That way, the Braves can celebrate on the field after a win tomorrow.

This is the playoff lineup I would use unless Uggla starts to suck again. I hope he can stay on track.

So nice to have Heyward back!

Leadoff spot while heyward was out: .174 AVG, .239 OBP, 8 R, 5 RBI in 26 games. Ouch!

    Darnell McDonald is still alive?

Seriously, good to see Heyward back. He's a must-have for this team.

Anyone that's been at the park so far today has to think Fredi's going to need mental help - has probably looked a little like Jack Nicholson in "The Shining".

Probably been whistling and talking to himself with a perma-grin on his face ever since writing #LeadoffMonster on that card this morning.

Has there EVER been a statement and question a certain someone should absolutely never have made and asked publicly more than...

Kinda pathetic to see yourself as a message board knight in shining armor. How impotent does someone have to be in real life to resort to playing hero on a message board?

In the playoffs I'd still probably switch McCann with Gattis.

I know it's a L-R-L thing, but McCann has a better chance of not striking out and making contact than Gattis who has been all or nothing lately.

Great to see Heyward back in there. This is the lineup that needs to carry us through the postseason.

This gives us some hope in the playoffs now. I love that lineup minus Uggla.

That's my take for sure. I don't want to cheer for the Nats but I'd hate to win it by them losing tonight. That would be as boring as it gets and a real downer, IMO.
