I'd rather just keep him in Gwinnett the rest of the year. The big league team sucks, no reason to take Camargo out of a spot where he's getting every day at bats.

He's been one of the most significant positive surprises this year. I wouldn't project him as a major league regular. But I do think he will be a very good bench player.

Demeritte just about killed the pitcher with a line drive single. Whew that was close.

I gotcha. I'm here, didn't know if you were. Bc Acuna and Demeritte both almost killed the pitcher that inning.

He's a real prospect? I always thought his ceiling was just a good bench player

For a guy with notably zero power this is significant. I've always been a believer in his d and arm, if he can swing it, them yeah bring him up this fall cuz he can play.

Yeah bench player is most likely his future role, but I'd still rather him get as many at bats as possible and play every day.

So where does Acuna end up on the mid season top prospect lists? Top 10? He is destroying AA.

He is seriously making a push for top 10 or better. His tools are loud and production is exceeding them.

As things stand I'd consider moving Phillips and let comargo play a bunch at 2b. Maybe be the rh platoon with rio.

I think he's a bench guy too. But his versatility is great. Next year when we go young with the sp we need to carry more rps. Rodriquez plus jace plus comargo can carry a bunch of spots.

It would be great if he could be passable in cf for maybe ten games a year

Top 10 for Acuna looks inevitable at this point. Top 5 should be the discussion.

Acuna should no doubt be a top 10 prospect. He barrels everything up. I didn't realize he was that fast. The Generals catcher has a cannon and just can't throw him out. He got out of a run down earlier too.

Now we are worrying about camargo's service time?

As maxi posibrave as you are, I can't argue you are far off. I'd say top 10-12 is a lock and a little on the light side.

Albies did too until he didn't

I know acuna has power and size and that will mean he can rise over

Let the hype train slow a little. He still has basically a handful of pro at bats. We aren't dealing him so the rank doesn't really matter

The hype train will slow down when he does.

Which will be whenever his BABIP drops from the absurdly high .500+ it is in AA. He is riding an insane streak of good luck right now.

Regardless, he has to be considered to be in the group of young OFer with Eloy and Robles.
