The interesting thing is that his swing is virtually identical on both sides. I wonder if he just doesn't see the ball out of the hand of a RHP as well.
His splits have never been this pronounced, so you have to hope he'll start hitting better against RHP soon. It's both encouraging and discouraging to see the splits like that.

Didn't know where to put this, and didn't feel like starting a new thread......
but we have about a full season's worth of ABs for Acuna now if we look at his minor league track record. He's got 557 at bats over the course of 147 minor league games
557 ABs, .305/.386/.476, 26 2B, 12 3B, 15 HR, 64 BB, 133, 56 SB, 19 SB
That's a tremendous line, I gotta admit the stolen base numbers surprise me, I've always known he had good speed, but I feel that's its either underappreciated or he just has tremendous quickness/anticipation.
His platoon deltas have been:
2017 - .319
2016 - .129
2015 - .038
2014 - .233
So it's always been there, and it's almost always been significant.
Albies may end up being best utilized in a leadoff platoon with Inciarte when they have the platoon advantrage, and hitting 8th when they don't.
Optimized 2018 lineup is probably:
vs RH/vs LH
Inciarte/Albies
Freeman
Kemp
Markakis
Flowers
Rio/Garcia
Swanson
Albies/Inciarte
Maybe flip-flop Swanson and the CF platoon. Maybe put the CF platoon 9th and the pitcher 8th.

The platoon splits do concern me. I think he should give up switch hitting. Theres no advantage for him.
