    Yes, Wisler, Blair, Sims...even Medlen all need to be evaluated in the pros this year. If they keep doing well...Weigel, Gohora, Soroka and even Allard will also be in AAA maybe THIS year and will definitely will be knocking on the door by mid year next year.

    Options are measured in years not amount of times used. Players have 3 option years any year they are sent down 1 or more times takes 1 year of options away. Some players use up all their option years right away but some players who stick like Francoeur have options that can be used during arbitration years. Once they hit free agency free agency from 6 years of service time they cant be optioned anymore without their consent.

    It is going to depend on the fit ... but I tend to agree his value is probably greatest now. I just don't think they will move him now. Unfortunately, this is where the FO talk about the rebuild being over will be a problem. I hope they are willing to move him despite the talk.

    But my guess is they are going to want to see if Teheran can turn it around and if Folty is for real and if maybe Newcomb is going to be good early. If so, they are going to want to see if the team can put together a run.
