Defensive positioning had him way away from that one. Considering the angle and how it was slicing away from him, it was a tough play. A good defensive outfielder makes that play but average or worse has no chance.Originally Posted by thethe

Folty's velo closer to Teheran than Strasburg. He's not a good enough location pitcher to get outs if his stuff isn't there. He'll keep growing, but rough night for sure...
The pitch to Harper was terrible.
Inciarte's play there was pretty bad, too; he misread that ball sorely.

I mean it's 6-6....Strasbourg is getting lit also. Maybe it's just one of those nights. I'm ok with Folty's progress overall.

There's no way that final run should be earned. Inciarte, however, should've earned two errors this inning.

Folty has #1 type of talent and has a 10 cent brain.
Yeah, Folty really can be dumb as rocks. I don't care how talented the Nats are, he looked like he could careless and pitched like he wanted to just go home.
