Just got back in, so glad that we won. Also glad that we won the division and can now set our team up for the post season.

As noted earlier, that basically happened today too since the Reds and Pirates have three more games against each other. But from a Braves perspective it would be better that not be the case. Nats are more likely to play hard against Cardinals if they had something to play for.

4-0 Brewers after Kelly threw away a bunt with two outs. A run scored on it and runner all the way to second. A good throw ends the inning, that's good news.

    Let's go Brewers tonight!

From who that would matter? Braves org./media is a soft touch IMO. Maybe org. less so after the Larry Parrish firing.

Brewers blowing it with bad pitching and stupid throws on defense, 4-3 now Cardinals still batting in 6th.

6-3 Brewers now, hopefully they can hold on. They have six outs to go. If they hold on it would be big for us because we'd be two up for home field (at least in loss column) and we own all the tiebreakers. Plus finishing first overall in NL means we face the wild card winner who can't set their rotation.

Yeah two up with 7 to go seems legit.

I have to say: both Cubs fans and the Cubs organization were right classy today: lots of congratulations after the final out, from persons as well as on the scoreboards.

Brewers beat the Cardinals, so Braves go up a game and half (two in loss column) for homefield and best record in NL.

Big day all around for the Braves!

The lead is actually 2 1/2 due to the tiebreaker. We should be able to close this out.

They have no respect for us. I don't want any help from them.

Dodgers have struggled worse than us recently.

They may have peaked using up all that energy to go on that amazing run they did. Might fall flat in the playoffs.

St. Louis scares me more than LAD, just because they've been there plenty recently.

#Braves Fredi G just took stroll out to center field, smoking a cigar, took a photo of the scoreboard "L" flag flying for Cubs loss.

Yeah, the Nats have nothing to live for. Their only hope is that they win out, and the Pirates or Reds lose out. So I'm sure they'll lie down against the Cardinals.

Braves have the Brewers and Phillies at home. They should be able to seal homefield.

That HR Freeman hit was not only up but up and in. He's pretty good.

Freddie Freeman should be the MVP. Through all the injuries, hes been the biggest threat all year long(minus one DL stint).

I can understand McCutchen as well, but since the Braves have the better record, Freeman deserves the frigging MVP.
