Frazier going to NYY

Frazier going to NYY
Edit: with Robertson
Wonder what NY gives up but a backend of Green, Kahnle, Robertson, Betances, and Chapman is some bullpen.
Wonder if they're getting Frazier just so Boston wont get him.
That's a huge set of upgrades for the Yanks. Wonder what the ChiSox got.
Will be interested to see the return. Gotta figure Andujar is involved. They would be killing it if they got back Sheffield or better.
If NYY is getting all three, the White Sox farm may move to #1 (blasphemy I know). Wonder if Clint Frazier is included? Or maybe some combo of Mateo/Rutherford/Sheffield/Adams? Hahn is killing the rebuild.
Mateo, Andujar, and Fowler if he can be traded would be my guess if Fowler can be traded.
Which wouldnt hurt NY that much.
Hahn is killing it but Braves farm is still better given guys like Lopez, Giolito among others been dissapointments.
Cashman has said he's holding onto his top prospects interested to see the return. If Yankees held onto Sheffield, Gleyber, Frazier, and Rutherford, they did well.

Lol the Sox could add the best prospect from every other system and some ofnyou would still claim the Braves have the Top system.
So you're saying Moncada, Giolito, Lopez, Eloy, Kopech, Robert, Cease, Fulmer > Albies, Maitan, Acuna, Allard, Soroka, Gohara, Anderson and Wright, Scheff?
Thats not even including the depth the Braves farm has.
Gio and Lopez have been huge dissapointments.
I think the systems are comparable currently. The return of this deal with New York could tip the scales in Chicago's favor. We have Albies and Acuna as high impact position players in the high minors; the Sox have Eloy and Moncada. Both systems have impressive depth in pitching prospects.
If this trade goes through then Matt Adams for Chase Headley would make sense. Just even out the money.
And now Anderson is hurt. And you left out their 2017 pick, Burger.
I'm sure Yankees fans can rattle off depth you've never heard of just like you can rattle off Braves depth they've never heard of.
Like I said, some around here will cling to the Braves having the Top system no matter what.

The difference is the White Sox traded their biggest assets...we kept ours. Had we traded Freddie and Julio (Julio last year at max value)....I am glad we kept Freddie...at least.

Sox have more star possibilities.
If you break it down for hitting then: Moncada, Jiminez, Robert, Collins, Basabe >> Acuna, Albies, Maitan, Demeritte, Riley (or Waters) and I think it would be really hard to argue that isn't correct.
If you break it down for pitching: Kopech, Giolito, Lopez, Fulmer, Cease > Allard, Soroka, Wright, Anderson, Fried but that's closer. I think it's clear the Braves are deeper in pitching but likely has less overall star potential.
And that is BEFORE knowing what the Yankees are sending them.
Look, I love the Braves. But, I don't let that blind me. The Sox now have more top end star potential while the Braves likely have a larger number of eventual ML players.
Today Rome put out its rotation for the upcoming series and Anderson is listed as the Friday starter.
