This is what passes as crazy in this country. I am convinced the screwing of Ron Paul directly led to Trump being president. Notice how Ron Paul trashes Trump daily yet gets nothing but respect from Trump and his followers.
The contrast in coverage between candidate Ron Paul and candidate Bernie Sanders says more than I can about the bias of media.
The contrast between President Obama and President Trump says quite a bit as well.

Sanders was status quo big government. Media loves that.

Paul was not - media hates that.

I listened to Hannity's radio show for a couple of segments yesterday...yikes. A couple of observations.

He spent a few minutes attacking the credibility of Mueller's team, based on their political donations. Then he went on a tangent about Andrew Weissman's Enron convictions being overturned. Then it was the now-familiar two-step about how Uranium One is the real scandal.

Then he talked to Newt Gingrich, who shed some tears about how thuggish and unfair it was for the FBI to have raided Paul Manafort's home. All I could think of was Dave Chapelle's white-collar crime sketch.

So, when a black guy is choked to death by the police while resisting arrest for selling loosies:

    "Why didn't he comply?!"

A rich white guy under investigation for multi-million dollar fraud gives false statements to the Feds and they raid his house:

"What did this poor man do to deserve this?"

The media is a conduit of the people in power. They are given orders to push an agenda.

I probably wouldn't be voluntarily listening to Hannity if I hadn't done a lot of damage to them on my own.

But yeah, huffing paint for 15 minutes probably would have been a more constructive use of the time.

It's about enough to "domestically radicalize" someone. In either direction.

It's pretty well documented that CNN told its staff to push Russia. That would be an example supporting thethe's statement.

Surely you believe that Fox does the same steering of their staff in the other direction?

At this point that concept isn't debatable. It's very clear what is happening.

thethe's statement would mean that Obama gave Fox News its orders and that Trump is now running CNN.

While opinion may often line up between an administration and a certain media company, I don't believe people in power run the media, as much as I'm sure thethe would love that now. It might often even be the other way around.

Also our political arguments these days are oversimplified and tend toward polarity, easily exploited by the media for or against.

    If it bleeds it reads.
    Journalism 101

They rely on people that don't know how to digest information. Or in Fox's case , question the validity of the information
they can say whatever they like. It is the readers job to understand.

So don't fault the "media" fault people's , shiity ability to read and comprehend

The independent research that showed Fox News was 50% negative against Trump, and is STILL considered to be state run media, shows us how far left the rest of the media is
