At least the tarp was on before the rain came. If we can get in the game the infield will be in good shape. Outfield might be a bog though.

I've heard a lot of talk about a possible Royals firesale with Moose, Hosmer, and possibly Cain but what about Salvador Perez? He'd be the guy I wanted out of all of them. He's 27 and just signed a 5 year 52 million deal last year.

Curve up dumped in for a hit. Those breaking balls have to be down.

Like seeing Newcomb throw strikes on 3-2 counts. Looking at his MiLB numbers, I expect a walk pretty much every full count

For some guys it's weird how mentally at the big league level they aren't afraid to bring it on full counts. I guess for some once they're already in the bigs they can relax more and just make pitch.

It seems like KEMvP swings and misses on 90% of first pitches looking very bad in the process

That is the ops of the Braves 3b with Freeman there, so it would make sense to replace him with anything less.

He has been missing a lot of breaking balls away from him out of the zone. Those are pitches he wasn't swinging at when he was going well.
