Sunderland are safe, no small thanks to Yedlin. he started out rough but really came into his own late in the season. Wonder if Spurs will loan him or keep him. I hope they loan him as Kyle Walker finally looked good, and Trippier was good off of the bench for them. Yedlin to me would be a bit of a luxury as I know they brought him in as a long term play. I feel like Sunderland wouldn't mind him again. I hope Sunderland makes a bid to buy him. I don't hate the Spurs, I just don't feel like Yedlin will be starting for a few years. Same reservations I had with MIazga going to Chelsea.

Man if I had the money to start an MLS team I'd really do it.

Yedlin is pretty poor. He should switch to track and field.

Except that he was very important in Sunderland staying up. Big Sam even said so.

Seriously, it's cute that you're so ignorant, but it's sad too.

So he has one bad game and he's ****? Did you watch him bitch Cardona around? Yedlin is a raw product. He's got work to do, especially on the offensive end. But he could shake out to be the best US fullback of all time if he hones the complete game.

Someone needs to build John Brooks a statue somewhere. I cannot recall a more dominant defensive performance for a USMNT player. That was Howard vs. Belgium level

Not half the team, just half of the forwards/midfield.

US wasn't likely to win vs. Argentina (presumably) anyway. Would be nice for Jurgen to give Nagbe and Pulisic a start just to test them.

Could be heat of the moment, but Messi said he's done with national team after missing a penalty and losing his 4th cup final. Apparently Kun Aguero and Mascherano are done too, while Di Maria, Higuain ,and others are considering retiring from int'l duty as well.

Jeez, what would these guys have done if the USA beat them, jump off the GWB?

If USA beat them, they probably should have. lol

I hope Klinsmen is finally done. He doesn't even let the best players play and having Bradely in the lineup at his point is retarded.
