Winkler to AAA..

I am very happy.

Winkler, Minter and Dirks are three guys that could really change the state of the bullpen down the stretch if the Braves are competitive for a playoff spot. Braves are nine games out right now, but will Arizona and Colorado continue to play as well as they have or will the bubble burst?

Didn't allard get roughed up at Rome first, then demoted to Danville, and then back to Rome where he excelled?

Not really. Allard had 3 starts in Rome in early June before rookie ball began. The first two were rough but the third was very good. My understanding is he wasn't demoted to Danville, the plan was always to send him there. They just wanted him to get some work so he got a few starts at Rome before rookie league began.

And Allard's control is and has always been miles better than Anderson's.
